Research Assistance

For Graduate Students, Professors and Professionals

Winslow Research Institute offers assessment materials and scoring services at no fee to graduate students, professors, and professionals conducting research in the behavioral sciences. To apply for research assistance, send us a copy of your research prospectus, outlining the scope of your research. If your project is approved, Winslow Research will send you the assessment materials for our Personal Dynamics or Personal Success Program described below. When your subjects complete the assessment, they are returned to our institute for processing. We will process your data and prepare a Personality Profile on each of your subjects indicating the score they received on each of the personality characteristics measured. There is no fee for this service, however, we request that you send us two complete bound copies of your research report and allow us to share your results with others. For additional information, please call (925) 754-2828.

Winslow Dynamics Profile

The Dynamics Profile measures the twenty-four behavioral characteristics relevant to success in all careers and to personal contentment in all aspects of life.

Winslow Discovery Profile

The Discovery Profile measures sixteen behavioral characteristics relevant to success in many mid-level positions and contentment in personal lifestyles.

Winslow Success Profile

The Success Profile measures the eleven personality characteristics fundamental to success, regardless of the subject's career or lifestyle. The assessment is easy to understand and complete, and can benefit individuals regardless of their education, sophistication or experience.

Control questions are included in the Profile to measure the Accuracy and Objectivity of the athlete's answers to the questions. The Accuracy control questions determine if the athlete was able to read and understand the questions and marked their answers correctly. The Objectivity questions determine if athletes objectively described their Athletic behavior. If they intentionally give answers in an attempt to obtain “desirable” results, OR unintentionally exaggerated their answers because of high self-esteem or self-confidence, their results will be invalid. When athletes have invalid results their assessment is NOT processed and their data is not available to the researcher. However, these athletes will be given the opportunity to retake the Profile after reading a letter explaining why their answers to the questions were invalid.

Procedure

Send a letter to our Institute summarizing your research project indicating the total number of athletes that you wish to complete our Profile. Include your mailing address, telephone number, email address, etc. If you have any questions, require more information, or wish to discuss your project you may contact:
